About the Tour
Welcome to the First Annual Seacoast Edible Garden Tour! Whether you are a new or experienced gardener, we know you will enjoy visiting the gardens we have chosen for this year's tour.
The Edible Garden Tour begins at Strawbery Banke Museum and highlights locations throughout the Portsmouth area. Ticket sales open at 9:30; gardens open at 10:00. Purchase a ticket for $5.00 and you will receive a guidebook and map with driving directions to each garden.

HOW TO GET TICKETS:
Strawbery Banke Museum (SBM) has kindly opened up two of their gardens for this tour and provided us with a home base location from which to sell tickets. The ticket tent for the garden tour will be set up on the Marcy Street side of Strawbery Banke and visitors will enter the gardens from near the tent. There will be signs posted to direct you to the starting point of the tour where you will receive a booklet with directions to each garden.
You may choose to visit the SBM gardens right away or begin the rest of the tour first and return to SBM in the afternoon so that you can include Garden 10 (located just down the road from SBM) which will only be open from 1-3 pm.
Parking: Please note that if you choose to park in the Hancock Street lot, you will be asked to pay a parking fee of $10.00, unless you are a member of SBM. Weekends are very busy for the Museum; we wish to have a low impact on their facilities so please seek other parking options first. Pierce Island has a municipal lot available which is only a short walk from SBM.
